Whitefoord Early Learning Academy

The historic Whitefoord Elementary School building at the corner of Whitefoord Ave and Hosea Williams Dr in the Edgewood Neighborhood is home to an APS Pre-K program, a non-APS affiliated pre-K program, and one 0-3 early childcare program.  

Whitefoord Early Learning Academy - Atlanta Public Schools 

APS offers a Georgia Lottery-funded Bright from the Start Pre-K program with three classrooms, making it the largest APS Pre-K site in the city. This program is available for Atlanta families through a lottery system in which applicants rank their preference of APS Pre-K sites. Once the lottery runs, applicants will be made aware of their placements. There is a waitlist for each site as needed. 

Drop off begins at 8:15am and runs until 8:45am. Pick up begins at 2:45pm and runs until 3:15pm. 

Breakfast and lunch are offered on site.  

There is aftercare available through Global Tech Academy. Global Tech runs from 2:45pm to 6pm and is on-site at the Whitefoord building. Snacks and dinner are provided by Global Tech.
